Fluoxetine, CBT, and Their Combination for Adolescents With Depression- (TADS) Randomized Controlled Trial

Initial treatment of major depressive disorder in adolescents may include cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) or a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI). However, little is known about their relative or combined effectiveness.

Decrease in Caudate Glutamatergic Concentrations in Pediatric OCD Patients Taking Paroxetine

These preliminary findings provide new evidence of glutamate abnormalities in the caudate nucleus in pediatric OCD and suggest that paroxetine treatment may be mediated by a serotonergically modulated reduction in caudate glutamate.

The Treatment for Adolescents With Depression Study (TADS) Long-term Effectiveness and Safety Outcomes

The Treatment for Adolescents With Depression Study evaluates the effectiveness of fluoxetine hydrochloride therapy, cognitive behavior therapy (CBT), and their combination in adolescents with major depressive disorder.
